You Would Think …
After more than 21 years in this business I should be able to accept this scenario and move
on…but NO!!!
Last week when preparing to show properties, I did my search as usual. My assistant, Beth,
called the sellers and let them know I would be coming. She later reported that one woman said,
“Oh, we love Barbara. Of course she can show our home”. When she told me the name, it was
like a slap in the face. Here’s why…In a summer when the market was hot and listings were
selling like hotcakes, I listed their home and worked tirelessly writing at least 6 contracts before
finally getting them a home they loved. They were very happy. Why in the world would they list
their home with another agent?
If I receive excellent service from a provider, I always go back to them and send them referral
business … it makes sense. Appreciation for a job well done and loyalty are good things.
My dear clients and friends, if you have worked with me in the past and received great service,
please come to me when you or someone you know need a real estate professional. I feel that I
earn your repeat business and referrals and hope that you will
remember me when the time
comes. Your loyalty is extremely important to my business.
On-line Safety For Kids
If you have kids who are using the Internet, here are some rules that will help keep them safe.
Go over the rules with your children and make sure they understand them, then post them next to
the computer where they’ll be working.
Never give your personal information to anyone, such as your address, phone number,
parents’ work addresses/phone numbers, or the name or location of your school without
your parents’ permission.
