she had listed all the good things each of Mark’s
classmates had said about him. “Thank you so much
for doing that,” Mark’s mother said. “As you can see,
Mark treasured it.”
All of Mark’s former classmates started to gather
around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, “I
still have my list. It’s in the top drawer of my desk at
home.” Chuck’s wife said, “Chuck asked me to put his
in our wedding album.” “I have mine, too,” Marilyn
said. “It’s in my diary.” Then Vicki, another
classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her
wallet and showed her worn and faded list to the
group. “I carry this with me at all times,” Vicki said,
and without batting an eyelash, continued, “I think we
all saved our lists.” It turned out they all had.
Right now is a great time to tell the people you care for that they’re important to you.

Spring Cleaning Tips
Whether you go all out with spring cleaning, or just cover the basics, here are some tips to save
you time and energy:
Have all your supplies on or near you to save time. Wearing your tools on your belt can cut
your cleaning time in half.
Start at the top and work your way down.
Mini-blinds: Call an ultrasonic blind cleaner.
They’re in the Yellow Pages and they’re
affordable. Not only do they come to your house
and take the blinds down, but the ultrasonic waves
clean the blinds’ headrail mechanisms and ropes.
The dirtiest blinds can look brand-new! Call for a
free estimate.
Use lemon oil on all those porous wood surfaces
that have suffered through the winter’s dry heat.
Not only will the lemon oil treat the wood and
restore the moisture and shine to it, but it will
cover most scratches from the pets or kids that
have nicked up your oak baseboards.
