Helpful Packing Tips
If youre making a short trip somewhere, you might
want to remember this: The root word of luggage
is lug. So its a good idea to buy the right size
suitcase and pack lightly.
The largest bag that airlines allow as a carry-on is a
22-inch tall suitcase. If you dont have to check any
bags, youll save time and hassle at the airport.
Youll want to look for a bag that has a retractable
handle and wheels for convenience. Retractable
wheels are also a good feature because theyre less
likely to cause a problem when you check your bag or
try to fit it through security devices.
When youre packing, keep in mind that most people usually overestimate the amount of
clothing and products theyll need on a trip. Try to reduce what you take
it might cut
back on the chaos and discomfort of traveling. For instance, you might want to buy a
travel-size bottle of combined shampoo/conditioner instead of bringing the full-size bottle
from home. Its also a good idea to pack anything that could possibly leak in heavy-duty
zip-lock bags. Pack these bagged items away from any clothes that could come into
contact with them.
Savvy travelers also realize that buying and packing clothing items with the intentional
wrinkled look can save time and hassle, and keep you looking great while youre on your
trip. When you physically put your clothes into your suitcase, heres a good regimen to
follow: Put your underclothes in first. Lay flat items on the bottom and line the edges of
the suitcase with items like rolled socks or bras. Layer your daily wear on top of these
items, then pack your finery such as ties, scarves, etc.

reducer more than 2,400 years ago. Thats because both
were rich in a substance called salicin, a naturally
occurring compound thats similar to the chemical
acetylsalicylic acid, now commonly known as aspirin.
Aspirin as we know it today came about through the
efforts of many researchers. In 1763, Reverend Edward
Stone wrote to the Royal Society of Chemists that he
tasted the bitter bark of a willow tree and it relieved him
from his aches
and pains. He subscribed to the belief
that natural maladies often carry with them their cures,
